Buoyancy

Oblique interstitial
Sentiment
Wishful predicament
Stopping to tell a riddle

Laughing off the
Most serious spells

Punctuated & striated
You left out the ellipses

Dots & lines

Dashes between letters
Ordered one at a time

Carefully coded
Collusion of force
Ethical void

Collapsing of all creation
Better devised

Still we can picture
Wonderful futures
In our prettiest
Buoyant minds

Dimension

There are places
Which cannot be
Described in words
Not because of
What they are
But because of
What they were

The motion of
The giving hours
Life lived
Upright &
Upside down

Music in the distance
I love those sounds

Reminding us
That energy is
Full of all
That is & was

Before
In the hereafter
Maybe the change
Is all the same
Maybe all the correlations
Will be different
This time around

Do you ever wonder if somewhere someone is wondering what became of their own self from one dimension to another?

Orb

Heads tuning
Themselves
Inquiringly
Towards Jupiter’s
Moons over nightmares

The orb
So beautiful
The satellite
So truthful

With terraform quantifications
From sullen deceptors
We fight onwards in
Idealisms

Upon the formings
Of multicoloured
Pastel dreamscapes

Reflecting burst
Lighting cumulus
Most hopeful orbiter

At last
Molten cold
Breakthrough

Prism: spinning: line

A recording of me reading Prism: spinning: line, this new work for day 19 of glopowrimo

Through the prism
Shining past
Moving changing
Through

Refraction

Spinning

Flying light

Scrawling all of the words
Drawing lines
To hold images up
To worlds

Outside
Lines
You make a bigger picture
More & more unfolding

Lines

Stark realities
My lenses pink
The prism clear
Your worlds
Different than
Mine are

In this realm
I’m floating
Dissociating

On that sphere
I am floating
& entirely
Connecting

This way we
Can be &
Go & be
& go

The bees are back
That buzzing
From a distance
On blossoms’ airs

The smell of cooking
& detergent fills
The space between here
& the sky

I am going to…

Go to
All the skies
I dream for

Fold me up
& take me
Out of this
Specious
Matrix

Please

Such a pretty concept
& yet I am moving
Away because
This isn’t it

The umbrella
Of stars like
Gorgeous crumbs

In the
Between the
Telephone string
Cans on each end
Connecting your
World & mine

Too far
No line

Disconnect
Resign

Edge of this world

Meets mine

Revived

Flowers

You wield flowers

In your pocket

As if nothing

Bothers you

The stems

Like beautiful

Pens

Daisies

& forget me nots

Peonies & lilacs in your skirt

Skipping along the sidewalk

Unbothered

Immersed

In reveries

Writing stories

Etched on clouds

& on the skies

Beautiful writings

On your mind’s eye

The wind whispers

Against your

SkinIn the air

You take in

Feelings

& observations

Of the day

In your imagination

Fairies turn weather

Into magic houses

With unicorns

As […]

Flowers

Sometimes

Cn: implied (nothing graphic or explicit) ipv (intimate partner violence). A poetic discussion & reflection. No direct discussion of violence.

Sometimes

I can’t forget

What it felt like

To love you

It was beautiful

& it was scary too

I wonder if

Sometimes you

Remember what

It was like

To love me too

Or if you did at all

If that was love

Or something

Superficial

As […]

Sometimes

For Your Daily Word Prompt ‘wield’

Authour’s note: poem 22/30 for a month of poetry 2021. I meant this as an ode to daydreaming & kind of a fantasy fanfic poem. Some whimsy for this early springtime.
