The solar blue

That flicker of evasive
Contentedness enraptured
By a sadness extending
In a line that never ends
Eternal romanticized
Sorrow
Tomorrow
Begins again

This week you told me
What to say
I did it
& regretted it right away

Telephone call
Melon call ee
Ahhhhhhh

I don’t follow orders
I’m not a fascist

Climbing up the
Ladder of bias
You let me fall
Then blamed me
After all

Except my skin
Is old like roses now
Scarred with the
Same version of fall

It wasn’t my fault after all
But that doesn’t mean
I don’t still think it is

Lies pies ties fries
Goodbyes
So many goodbyes

Your eyes aren’t cold
Your mood
Spin cycle
More volatile

I am done with
Giving up on myself
I hope you understand
The lyrics of
The song I sing
The one you like
Then hate again

I’m sorry I am
A complicated
Fairy orchid berry
Once upon a

Temporeality

Please meet me
In the solar blue
I’ll be happy
& maybe
I’ll be enough
For you

Pistachio ice cream

Winter is but a memory
In the melting heat
You told me about
Your first dreams
Your final dreams

We sat on the park bench
Eating pistachio ice cream
You could hurt people
& then like a child
Enjoy a treat
People are like this

Pistachio ice cream
Is my favourite

What did Hannah call it?
The banality of evil

Another level

1

I keep thinking
I’ll die

& then I don’t
Somehow

Watching loved
Ones go is hard
Even ones we
Don’t know

Purposeful
Representation
Of entirety of self

Purposeless
Orchids

Do not live

2

How many times
Did she tell you
What was happening?

& how many times
Did you tell me
I was wrong
About reality?

Some people
Thrive on
Others’ confusion

The ways of men
With no personalities

3

Cold eyes
Pretending
You were there
At the parking lot stairs

Leaving is one thing

But breaking everything
Before you go

Is another whole level

4

You found her
Didn’t you?

Your Cerissa
Your Karla

Serial forced reason
Is of no consequence

Immunity compromised

We have the revolution

Ultimately

Mercury

They talk about Mars too much now. But you told me you wanted to go to Mercury instead. I still think it’s a colonial impulse that informs the kind of space travel humans do. Even though we do all love space.

We anticipate the photographs. We cried when the Mars Rover died. As if somehow it was a high achieving sentient being, & not a sleuthing camera machine.

I guess Mercury is close to all the planets in the galaxy, & it has ice on the poles. So habitable? Can be terraformed according to you. Why they’ve picked Mars, who really knows?

I wish they’d choose Earth.

Cacophonies

Characterizations
Laid upon you
Shedding the
Foundation of
Wrongs for
Every possibility
Daylight has to offer
& nighttime must cradle

Sentient bliss of
Darkness emerging
Brings all to surface
Cold rising star
Measures of temporality
Set upon a universe
Of sadness

Persistence
Persistence

Unreality
A mechanism

Textured
Harmonies

Collapsing cacophonies

Periwinkle mindset
Baby pink chaos

All the ways we scheduled tasks. Groceries after cups of tea & loss. Costs.

Balcony lunches. Strategizing revolved futures. Hanging roses upside down to dry them & remember the purple sky.

High up in the treetops, we talked to squirrels, sparrows, many cats. They taught us how to cook & make plans.

Spiral staircases to people in dreams. We.

Orb

Heads tuning
Themselves
Inquiringly
Towards Jupiter’s
Moons over nightmares

The orb
So beautiful
The satellite
So truthful

With terraform quantifications
From sullen deceptors
We fight onwards in
Idealisms

Upon the formings
Of multicoloured
Pastel dreamscapes

Reflecting burst
Lighting cumulus
Most hopeful orbiter

At last
Molten cold
Breakthrough

Aquamarine

In the foliage of space
The forest of time
Twisting trees
Lines
Spines
Overtures
Underneath
Elemental
Euphoria
Of just making it
Another day

Leaves of silver sentiment
Flowers of aquamarine possibility

Another day

All the ways we play

I couldn’t be a perfect specimen, a token. It’s an elusive goal. An interplay of hail & blank pages. Still I received the coup de main.

What choice did we have?

It was different in those days.

Then arriving at
The interstitial
Stellar altar
We lay our
Anticipations
Our disappointments
Even our glee

Yet through rotations
Only some formulations

Change

The cursive winds
Looping letters
On cloud consciousnesses
Stems illustrated on
Wallpaper conversations

Letting the afternoon sun
Absorb the temperment
Of fantabulous meditations

Wishes on wonderfully
Wicked currents
Forever in memory
Holding their moments

Together

Signs

In my heart

A burgeoning

Frond

A time to

Clear the

Mind

A clock

Ticking

Through

Lies

Through

Lies

The way things

Are still

Come alive

Alive

Anyway

Anyway

The hands

They fly

On the clock

The ghosts

Tell time

1 2 4 5 6

7 & 9

Where do we stop

How do we go

When do we

Find the

Elements

The signs

Signs

Remaking

Whether you chose it
Or not
This is what it is
A plethora
Of nothingness
That fails to lift

The absurdity
Of fascism
The way it
Decays bodies

Life an afterthought
Yet life is everything

The further we stray
From a connection
A collective organization
Of interdependence
& cooperation
The more we lose
To never regain

Yet still
Under these
Incorrigible
Conditions
Wonderful
Revolutionaries
Remake the
The beautiful
Matrix again
