Futures

When tears don’t come

& all the pain of

Things persist

In the heart

Even after the

Movement

Of clocks’ hands

The turning of

Glowing numbers

Comforting through

The implication

Of futures

Futures

& more futures

Like blocks

Building

Themselves

Water pouring

Itself into

The forms

Of life’s

Portals

On channels

Of transmission

Finding

Information from

Those who

Won’t hold it

Anymore

Narrative memory

Pouring through

Doors & floors

Open windows

Invite outpours

Moody great

Rains cry

Out in plenty

For us all

Releasing

Calls for

More

Futures
