Curiosity in 2 parts

Didn’t you
Want to know?
I think about

The curiosity
Of the eyes
The ears
The senses

What even
Could
Curiosity
Forget
That it
Didn’t
Even
Know yet

The functional
Process
Of tossing
A ball
Of pretending
To be a princess

Now I reject
Monarchy
Authourity

But not
Pretty
Things

Pretty things
Are everywhere
Or when they’re
Not we
Know them
In our mind’s
Sense

Always
Flowers
& refraction
Flowing
Fabrics
In the winds

2
The cat
Snuck out
& snuck
Back in
Secretly
Friends
With the
Next door
Dog

A secret
The humans
To know
Weren’t
Allowed

& so
When
There were
Hints
I was curious
But then
It was
Cute so cute

I loved the fact
Much more
Than I
Wanted
The details

Oh curiosity
Doesn’t
Always
Kill

Anyone
Even
Cats
In fact
Cats
Are good
At that

The cat taught
Me that
Curiosity
Can exist
Alongside
An acceptance
Of mystery
