Of quietude: a conciousness stream

It’s been quiet for you lately
Some construction sounds
Here & there
Always the birds

Mostly it’s welcome peace
Of mind & body

The threats
The shouting
Through hallways
Stopped

Still there can be disquiet
Internal & external
Rustlings
As new leaves come in
As blossoms send memos
Of arrival

You remember trajectories
Impacts & outcomes

You work in
Stillness set in chaos
Until you can’t

Dreams
All kinds
Of dreams

This world
Was made
For bodies
Humans
Often don’t
Appreciate

Order
Chaos
Stillness
Movement

Lucky
Reprieve
